Randy,
What seed does your watermellon shaped fruit  come from??? One of our plants
at our second patch has set all it's fruit that way. I have checked the
female flowers on that plant and all the bulbs at the base of the flowers
are long and narrow(like a watermellon) Don't get me wrong now, they are
AG,the plant is undeniably AG,and the color and blossom type are
correct,it's just the fruit SHAPE. Odd,or isn't it?
As the set fruit has grown,it has started to look like a upside down
pear,with an estimated weight of 80lb at 22 days.It's not my only
prospect,but I have enough room to see what happens.
