what's with all the hubub about this watermelon shaped business?  pumpkins
come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, especially AG's.  mine started out
as a water melon shape, and it's doing just fine.  i've had pumpkins that
were nice and round and end up looking like a big fat pear.  i'm not sure
that any one particular shape is more prone to a split.
