My New England pumpkins are doing very well. I have confidence that I will
beat my personal best, which was 330 lbs (uow). I have pumpkins that are
making me smile.
I'm especially happy that I should have seeds that are worth trading, and I
agreed to organize the "round robin" seed trade that was conducted by Elkskin
last season. For those new to the list the round robin is groups of about
ten growers who each contribute 20 seeds, and then a box of seeds is mailed
to each grower in the group, who then mails it to the next person. When seed
trading time comes, I'll post more details. Right now I think we're all
concentrating on keeping our pumpkins happy and healthy.
