You're not cranky. Be thankful you're surviving the heat. It's hot here in
FL, but we tend to be used to it more than our northern friends.
Yesterday, a golf club security guard collapsed from heat prostration while
driving a covered golf cart on his rounds at Heathrow, FL (less than a mile
from my residence). Paramedics failed to revive him.
Rain is in our FL forecast Sat and Sun. Perhaps this will be the end of the
drought conditions. Do what you can to help your plants survive, but remember
not to over exert yourself in this heat. Rain is just around the corner. Hang
in there.
Anybody up for a rain dance?
