Re: Solar Water Heating
Hello,
If you have a shed;
a) mount tank inside shed, up in the rafters
Water is heavy (8 lbs to the gallon) make
sure it is properly supported.
b) take a flexible hose and coil it on the
roof of the shed, attach one end of the
hose to the top of the tank, and the other
to the bottom of the tank
You may have to cool your water though with no temperture regulation.
Regards,
Tom

I have a 100 gallon stock tank which so far has been able to increase the temperature from the well temperature of 50 degrees to 60 or so. I would like to increase this to 80 degrees when and if the sun ever comes out. I am looking for a simple convection type unit which could be made from plastic pipe.
