Re: Solar Water Heating
I have painted the stock tank flat black and have a black lid on it. On a 70
degree day I can get the water to 63 degrees. I like to water early in the
afternoon and this is at least better than the 50 degree well water. I
expect that when warmer weather comes I can get 70 degree water. The
articles I have read have recommended 80- degree water and I was hoping to
have a simple boost from solar. I imagine that if I can get 70 that would be
fine.
Thanks,
Rich Koch
