wind damage

I have a pretty big storm go throught a few minutes ago and I suffered
some wind damage to my stelys 801.5. The main split on the bottom for about
6 inches. I buried the vine with dirt and anchored the rest of the plant.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on what to do.
The storm did give me a half inch of water in 15 minutes and filled my
pond the rest of the way so some good did come from the storm.
The rest of the plants suffered no damage.
