It's 108 on my back porch. All I have set up is shade cloth, and it seems to
be working. Just a little wilt on the really big leaves. I watered the ground
around the plants this AM, and I think that helped keep the soil temp down. I
hope this is over tomorrow.
I bet Mike Brock in Boonville is heading for a hard week. He makes his living
as an organic gfarmer, and this heat could hit him in the wallet.
Mike, call out if you need help, you hear. I am sure someone who lives close
will come to your aid.
What's that you say? "No one lives close to Boonville." Well, there is that
to consider.
I need to go to work in the office tomorrow instead of tele-commuting like I
did today. Gotta love those computers and modems, yessir.
