Re: cloning


In my humble opinion:  Cloning in this situation is just like using cuttings 
to propagate new plants....it has the same genetic makeup only.i have seen 
(in my two minimal years) enough variation in fruit shapes,sizes,color,and 
wall thicknesses(density) on a single plant that i am VERY confident that the 
fruit wont be identical. There is too much variation in fruit culling and 
final selection,fertilizer methods,climate,bugs,soils,etc to worry about 
"clones"...........GlennA.
