That makes sense. I will put my little shadecloth pup tents, which I had
intended only for scortching hot days, over the vines the days after I trench
them and see what happens.
BTW, I am trying to keep a constant weak fert solution going as I water with
my drip system twice a day. I think that your situation in the nursery last
year with their constant feed system may have been a real contribution to the
big one. Are you growing in the nursery again this year?
