George: Right on the money, the clusters are most likely squash bug aka
stinkbug laid in clusters and roundish bronze in color as opposed to SVB
which are flat ovals and reddish brown.

The eggs are reddish brown laid singularly, not in clusters. The plants are
small enough now that I give them a daily visual inspection before I spray.
