Misting and Pesticide

  Hello! 

   How do people deal with spray on pesticides and misting their plants. I
have my plants get an occasional mist throughout the day and feel like I
must be wasting my time putting on any spray pesticide.  I've been using
Methoxychlor and Rotenone.  Should I being doing something differently?
