Ah, Glenn, I was hoping people would look at this from a soil composition
perspective, but let's throw in a new twist to test the genetics angle:
Here were the four seeds:
Holland 879
Wallace 567.4
Marcellus 734
Checkon 815
Actually this is a great idea... maybe you all can tell me what sort of
growth habit I should expect from each of these! If it's genetics, then
those of you who have grown these seeds should be able to tell me which ones
were speedsters and which were stout, lumbering old things, regardless of
placement in my garden, eh?
Thanks, Glenn!

Beth...this could be fun ! But we'd need to see some results from your soil
tests to sumize the problem w/o depending or relying on genetics alone. As
for growth habits,Mike Nepereny has a place on his website (A.G.G.C) where
growers can summerize growth habits of seeds they have grown....might be a
great help in the future if people contributed to this information
bank.........Glenn
