re: saving males


I saved pollen in the refrigerator for two or three weeks last year.  I picked the flowers as soon as it was light outside, tore the petals off and scraped the pollen (with a toothpick) into a little plastic dish w/airtight lid.    That way you can save pollen from different plants in separate containers.    I had 100% success this way.  Except for my 920 Cole, and I don't think my problems with it had anything to do with pollinating.
