I am a simple male of the species, so I am a little lost here. Were you
smitten with the desire to grow AG's? Is a significant other showing more
concern over pollen and blossoms than you? Do you care more about the
significant other's (s.o's) essential wonderfulness than the s.o.'s wonderful
patch?

If I read this right, the answer is simple. Join the work in progress in the
patch. The s.o. will think you are wonderful, intelligent, perceptive, kind,
warm, generous, brave, clean and reverend. (For you ladies, the last part is
fromt eh Boy Scout Oath.)
