Ironic
that just last night I was talking to James Cramton, a grower visiting from
Pennsylvania. We were agreeing that one of the many benefits of growing in
CA
was the lack of harmful insects in this area.

Whew ! for a minute there I though you were going to tell us just because its
green its not a cucumber beetle !!!!
On the lighter side (does it get any lighter than an orange squash?) I
have a mutation on one of my plants...there's a pumpkin(yellow, but that kinda
figures(mutant)) and a fist full of vines and leaves all welded together. The
lobes were there on the flower....three normal sets and one set with leaves
!......and.....it looks like it took the pollination ! Very strange...anyone
seen this before?
