Some might think this is a bit
much ,but this is how my fertilizer has went so far. From the time they broke
the ground until they had 5-7 leaves I used 1 tablespoon 10-50-10, 1 oz seaweed,
1 oz fish in 2 gallons of water & spread in a 6 ft circle every day. At 5-7
leaves I switched to 1 1/2 tablespoons 20-20-20, 1 1/2 oz seaweed, 1
1/2 oz fish in 3 gallons & spread in 6 ft circle every day.My main vine is
now 3 1/2 ft long & I can see females in the bunch of leaves at the end of
the vine so I am switching to 2 tablespoons 20-20-20, 1 tablespoon 5-10-40, 2 oz
each of fish & seaweed in 4-5 gallons & spreading in 10 ft circle. My
plant is now 35 days old from the time I filed & soaked the seeds, the vine
is 3 1/2 ft long, 2 secondary mains each 1/2 ft long ,18" wide leaves, & the
stump is 5" in circ. As the plant grows I am planning on adding 1 more
tablespoon of 20-20-20 , and 2-3 tablespoons of 5-10-40, and of course more
water. once the main reaches 10 ft I will start foliar feeding with a
mixture of seaweed and 15-0-15 with calcium. I know people will think this is a
bit much but it seems to work for me.............Paul..........Canal
