Kevin,
In 1998 I diect seeded seed about this time and grew a 303.5#
pumpkin without much care. With care I believe you can double that! Get out and
fight.

Subject: I have to rest for a while
!!
List I have done everything I could so
far and felt this year was going to be a great year for me. Feel that I am
wrong. Mixed up a batch of safer soap last nigh to take some aphids, etc.,
off the plants and must have done something wrong wiped out the plants !!
One 791 Glasier was in a heap this afternoon the other had all the new
foliage yellowed to the point of burning and the plant was limp. The 986
Hester was in the same boat. I am about done for this year !!!
As a last ditch effort I direct started a 774 Mombert ( 801
Stelts X 567.5 Mombert) in one mound and a 895 Hester squash (900.5 Lyons
sibbed) in the other mound. I left the plants in the soil and watered
the heck out of them hoping something would save them but I don't know !!
Well, all my friends I am going to take some time off here for
a while and reflect on how things came out, I am going to keep reading but
unless I have some "GOOD" news I am just going to lurk in the shadows for
a while I am sure you all understand !!! Thanks to all of
you and take care and especially GROW EM BIG !!!
