RE: **SVB ALERT**


Squash vine borer moths are a huge problem for growers east of the Rockies.
They lay their eggs under the vines and stems.  Larvae hatch out and bore
into the vine eating their way through the plant and killing it in the
process.  Living where you do the biggest insect menaces are cucumber
beetles and aphids.  Both are much easier to control with common
insecticides and are usually less devastating in the damage they do unless
they infect your plants with a virus.
