RE: **SVB ALERT**
Is Schimitar also effective for Squash Bugs? I am already having World War
III here in Central Virginia with these bugs. They are emerging much earlier
and in greater numbers this year than in the past. My biggest problem is
rainfall. We are getting rain almost everyday and although I am using
Thiodan which is very effective it is getting washed off daily. Causes a
real headache. Also, is this Schimitar available at most garden or farm
stores. I have never heard of it until now.
Thanks,
Mark

Lee,
Go get an insecticide called Schimitar CS. It has the same active
ingredient as Warrior-T (Lambda Cyhalthrin) but is not quite as strong. You
have to have a license to buy Warrior but Schimitar is available to anyone.
I promise your SVB troubles will be over. I lost my first two AG crops to
these pests as well but kicked their butt's last year. This product is much
safer than many insecticides just don't get it on your skin. It has a
solvent in it that will make your skin feel like it is on fire.. It doesn't
actually cause a chemical burn or anything but it does feel like tobasco
sauce on your tongue. You can read more about it at
www.zenecaagproducts.com
Hope this helps,
