Re: Cucumber Beetle

Rotenone dust does a great job of repelling cucumber beetles, and will kill those that it comes in direct contact with.  It is an "organic" remedy, and is far safer than chemical pesticides for yourself, your pets, your water tables, your neighborhood honey bees and your children.

I used this last year, and it is 100% effective in keeping cucumber beetles away.  The only problem is you have to apply it nearly every day to new growth, and throughout your patch whenever it rains, so it seems like your constantly dusting.  Also, one of my friends was sensitive to the dust.  You can wet the powder and spray it on if dusting gets to you.
