I will give free seeds to the top 3 guesses of weight
for my largest pumpkin. (only 1 guess per person)
HOwever, guesses under 500 lbs are automatically
disqualified. So if I don't get to at least 500 no
one wins any free seeds. LOL But you probably
wouldn't want any if it doesn't reach that level.
Here is some basic info to guide your guess:
This is my first year
Seeds: 697 dill
Feeding: 15-30-15, then 20-20-20
Vines: Burying for tap roots, trimming off side vines
at 6 to 8ft and burying the end
Pollination: by hand, 3 to 5 pumpkins
Culling: All but 1 on each plant
THere's a lot of other stuff I already know as well
but won't go on. Feel free to share any advice you
want to share.
I'm serious about doing this if I get enough replies.
