Re: 28% Nitrogen


Why so much nitrogen?    I thought it was best to
start out with high phosporus for root development,
then switch to an even ratio like 20-20-20.  Then once
the plant is very mature greenery wise and the
pumpkins are starting to grow, switch to a ratio
higher in potassium and lower in nitro.   That is my
understanding so far.    
Are you boosting nitrogen temporarily to get the green
going then switching off?
