Re: Culling Plants


TJ, I normally just read this list, but had to reply.  Last year was our 
first with AG and the one thing I can tell you is say goodbye to your 
backyard.  Left to it's own devices (growing the way they do) you will see it 
(them) go over the permanent plants, up the front door, knock and remind you 
to water and of course give you the constant worry that a car may hit the tip 
as it crosses the road. Culling??  I wouldn't have the heart.  I am sure 
someone else can advise you about that.  You can also "manage the vine" and 
control it to your space.  I found that about as easy as controlling a 2 year 
old in a candy shop.   All in all last year was the most fun we have had with 
plants, going again this year- this is habit forming (they should have a 
warning label)
