Where have I been
Hello All
I am sorry but I had a system failure. Basically I killed my computer!
Fortunately my son-in-law is a computer Tech and I get it fixed for nothing.
Problem is I have to get my front page up and running so I can update my web
page. I saved my plants all thou I think I am growing for practice this year
on the four I have in the big patches as the damage was very extensive. I
will post pictures of what is left of the plants as soon as I can. Shellie
(on the rockwell 771.6) is now 186 inches OTT and dale is a whopping 156
OTT. The second (dale 2 ) is growing even thou I turned it upside down as
the pumpkin was growing on top of the vine. And on the Mettler 865 I have a
pumpkin that is about two weeks younger than Dale and almost the same size!
at this point I have 8 pumpkins growing three of them are over 100 pounds.
The main thing that was killing the plants was 2spot mites and let me tell
you this they killed about 50% of the leaves in about 4 days. I sprayed with
Kathane and Asana with some 20-20-20 mixed in and the plants are now growing
new foliage on the ends. I still have a Mitchell and a P&P seeds 1006 plants
that are about 5 weeks old now (my wife thinks their hers) No really she
planted them so they are her's. I should have my web page up dated by
tomarrow. That's about all I have for now
