I planted my 1007 the wrong way this year. Turn it very slowly when it's warm or hot out, not in the morning. The vine is more pliable then. Prop the vine as well since there is a tendency for the vine to get heavy, fall down and kink or crack. A longitudinal kink or crack isn't as bad as a crossway crack. I learned to prop from past experience to prop ( I use liter pop bottles or empty milk jugs etc., you can keep them filled with water to keep them from slipping or blowing around). My 1007 actually started turning around on its own toward the sun. I have it running north to south. South to north is a totally different story, it would need a lot of training.

I have a question! I know if you need to change direction of the main vine you prop it a little at a time. But what if you are a complete moron and plant you plant were it is 180 degrees out? How do I get it to turn 180 degrees? This plant is the Hunt 991 that I bought on auction for 56.00 and I don’t want to lose it
