I agree.....
I myself am growing a seed that is unproven but it has the same exact
genetics as a proven seed that has produced many 1000+lb'ers... I have
checked with a botanical geneticist (PhD) and she claims that it is the
genetics that can determine the size of the pumpkin (not the weight), and
good growing techniques on top of that. If you have the correct 'genetics'
in the seedstock then you are all set. It's up to you from that point
forward.
I will post my results with this experiment. This out-ta-be fun.
