Do you have another plant?  How many plants do you have in your garden now.  Recommendation... use a wind screen around your plants to shield them.  I have heavy winds in my area also... to prevent problems I have a wind screen up on three sides of the plant to protect them from the prevailing wind direction which is the West...
 
Peapod are you from Worcester, MA? I have one extra plant from my own seedstock, 627lb'er from last year, you can have it?

The wind picked up pretty good friday night into saturday morning and my plant was flat against the mound when I went out to check it. I am not sure if the vine split but it would not stand on it's own. We took the dirt from the mound and piled it up around the stem. say a little prayer that my baby survives. :(
