Re: Pollination

Ray,

Yes, I can and do read.

Gus wrote "I don’t want to get in some public tirade, so I responded to you privately"

Since I had seen no previous post, and since your quote of Gus reads "I responded to you privately" I think your belief that his post was public is about as correct as your belief that you have a "right" to post whatever and whenever you want.

Perhaps I can help you understand Gus' message:

"tirade" i.e. an oration or harangue abounding in censorious and bitter language.
"privately" i.e. not for public knowledge or disclosure; secret: private papers; a private communication.

I support your right to disagree, it is just that I am sick of 50% of your posts being disagreeable.

Of course I could be wrong about all I have written. I have been wrong before. In fact there was a time I thought you actually cared about helping rather than just trying to profit from this list. I was wrong about that so I guess I could be wrong about this too.

Mike

Mike,

FYI.  The post by Gus was to the list.  Do you read the list?

Ray, you already let us know this was available, and I appreciate that, but the advertisement below does not belong here.  I thought this list was free of advertisements!  I don’t want to get in some public tirade, so I responded to you privately.  Please limit your ‘advertising’ to only items that are directly relevant and at least include a letter or something to make it look like a post rather than just a commercial.

I am saying this for your own protection (from some of the verbal abuse from the list) and for my own enjoyment of the one mailing list I am on that does not include a bunch of junk mail.

-Gus
