RE: split vine


As long as neither one is a mutant (double or multiple vine), I see no
reason not to keep both.  If you have enough space, you may want to grow
them both as main vines and set a fruit on each one.

Where are you in central Ohio?  Maybe we can arrange patch visits.  E-mail

A few days ago I noticed that one of my vines that is 3 feet long has
spit into two vines.  I am thinking  about letting the vines grow and let
the most vigorous one be the main and train the other vine as a
secondary.  What are your thoughts?
