I agree.  I think the growers in the middle of the state and
down in southern California may have a bit of a weather
advantage this year.  Us bay area types are feeling the chill.

Cold and blowy day after day for weeks on end.  Then today it
hit 80 or so and I have major leaf burn on the two fastest
growing plants - minor on the others.  Last year it took 95 to
hurt the plants.  They get used to a weather pattern and then
it changes and the plants freak.
