East Torrance report

Well here it goes !! The East Torrance Report...
After a nice start with a little damage the plants are coming along quite nicely. Here is the run down...
 
 Mound # 1.. 611 Hester 99 .. BIG plant thirteen foot main 1/2 filled the 500 square foot patch terminating side vines and waiting for a fruit to develop on the main. I have one that will open in about three days with another one in about six days. Female opened on a secondary main yesterday but there are ABSOLUTELY no males in my patch at all if it gets pollinated I know one of my neighbors is growing a compatible Cucubrit.Hudge leaves and thick trunk. This is the mound with the aeration pipes obviously doing the trick a real eye pleaser...

 Mound # 2... 900 Lyons 94 .... Nice plant medium to large leaves fruit will be orange, Darn it !!! 13 foot main, Female will open tomorrow on a Secondary main but is in terrible positioning 2 feet from a wall will pollinate it with two males from my 654 Troy just because !! No females on the main except one still in the bundle of the tip. May have one shot before the main reaches the end of the patch. If the fruit doesn't set I am in trouble !! will be setting fruit on every secondary as backups !!! 1/2 Filled the patch so far and am terminating secondaries as they reach the end of the patch...

 Mound # 3... 758 Smith 01.. Thick plant 10 Foot main trained in the quarter flag Running out of patch with only one fruit on the main and of course on the wrong side !!!  Will pollinate it but hoping for another on the right side. Had a blow out on the main with 1/4 of the main severed looks like it will grow through it.

 Back ups....
 703 Smith 01 ... Grown in the patch at the far opposite end of the 900 Lyons patch turned it to grow into the 758 Patch small plant very odd has leaves as sepals on the male flowers REALLY WEIRD .. Kind of a mutant but if the 758 Goes down I will at least have a back up!!!!

 654 Troy 01.. Grown at the far end of the 611 Hester patch. Turned it to grow across my lawn. Been doing experiments with it kinda tweaking it to see how much it can handle physically.. Odd plant double everything Female flowers,tenderals,runners leaves the whole thing !!! may pull it but don't have the heart, 9 foot main and a real killer plant but as I said a back up...

 At the Carson patch next door my 8 year old neighbor kid is growing the
594 Smith 01 OOOOOHHHHHH  What a winner !!!! Thick vigorous plant man I wish I had this one !!!! Can't believe how great this plant is !!! Two feet long and as strong as a TITAN !!!!! Double planted with a 654 Troy that is very small and weak but the same thing Double everything, Starting to kick in but looks like it will come out today or tomorrow.....

 Pumpkin Pirate ....... Darn the government for closing the majority of our coast for fishing YES IT IS TRUE moratorium for most game fish and all rock cod !!!! Pumpkin Pirate may end up just Pumpkin .......
