RE: indiana state fair

In my opinion, it is never too early to set fruit...especially for an early
weigh-off. We had three 600+ pounders at the fair last year!

Subject: indiana state fair

Hello all

When should I try to pollinate a fruit for the Indiana state fair contest on
August 16th? I have two vines I put out on April 15th ( these are only shelf
seeds nothing special) and now are 8 to 10 feet long and doing great. I
pollinated one female on last Friday and have a couple good positioned that
will be ready to pollinate this week, is this too early to be trying to set
fruit?? This is my first attempt at ag"s also when should I apply my first
application of fungicide preventative? (cleary)

Thanks Steve
