Thanks for the tip on the Shish Kabob Sticks.
For the past few years I have been using 12" long pieces of
thin bamboo to hold the vines down. I like the Shish Kabob stick idea better.
And you can't beat the price !!!

I use 10' Shish kabob Sticks I get about 100 of them from the Grocery store
for $1.89 American and put them over the vine in an X and then bury right over
them they decompose and I have never found one the next year !!! Real simple
CLEAN and convenient (come in there own plastic pouch)!!! As I said before
find what works for you and stick to it sure makes things simple the more
experience you get! Take care all and GROW EM BIG !!!!
