If you can get a hold of two of those typical cloth or plastic measuring
tapes used to measure material (for sewing) you can staple them together to
make a servicable measuring tape to measure your pumpkins. I have one that
goes to 120" joined to another one that goes to 60". This works fine for
me. Just remember to staple them together accurately and to read them
correcly once your pumkin gets to the "more than one tape measure" size.
