I have transplanted ten good starters of the atlantic giants. Two of them have
a line crack about six inches long on the main stem.(Exposing the insides of
the stem. Is this normal or will I lose these two plants? Can I prevent this
from the others?What causes this?  Two part question:  When the plants get big
enough for watering,Can I use a  garden sprinkler to water each morning over
the patch? Thanks Mike
