Bury the secondary vines, some bury the main, some don't, I do. Prune all
tertiary vines coming off the secondary or side vines (off main). I bury
about 3-4". Some just barely cover the top of the vines. Many roots come out
of the top and bottom of vines. I don't want to neglect that big main vine.
Some don't cover due to concern about disease. Keep soil and plant healthy
is very important. Don
