Re: pumpkins DIGEST V1 #26

I didn't think to ask before: we've had some really hot days--95 degrees with
high humidity. Can this be causing my problems? I really am worried about
them now. I have some backup seeds if I need to go with them, but don't want
to stick them into an environment which will produce the same problems.

cheers,
duchess of gladstone

Howdy!? Hopefully, things are going well for all!
Every year, I do a June 1st measurement and compare...
I did measure tonight and here are the Main Vine Lengths...
#1 - 1689 Jutras - 108"
#2 - 1272 Brunst - 102"
#3 - 1568 Conolly - 99"
#4 - 1087 Bhaskaran - 97"
#5 - 1161 Rodonis - 95"
#6 - 1290 Poirier - 89"
#7 - 1385 Jutras - 88"
#7 - 985 Werner - 88"
#9 - 1566 Rodonis - 87"
#10- 904 Stelts - 74"
How does it compare?
2005 - 60"/36"
2006 - 95"/72"
2007 - 140"/87"
2008 - 84"/24"
2009 - 108"/74"

2009 ranks at #2! Woohoo! Now just have to dodge some Frosts in MN ;-)
