Thanks for the rapid response! I now see I was using the list improperly. I
didn't realize I was looking at the average weight of the top ten weighed
pumpkins in each state, and not the weight of individual pumpkins - I just
discovered that by 'clicking' on each state, individual pumpkin weights would
appear, including those over 1500 lbs. By the way, congratulations to the two
of you - you've done very well in Ontario!

Hello Mr.Hirshfield---there are at least 8 US states and one Cdn province
with AGs over 1500 pounds.
Perhaps you did not go to the IPGA Top Ten Average (TTA) list.
Start with PA and work you way down,you will be impressed.

I noticed that when I used Duncan's link that there was a list with a number
of >1500 lb. giants, topped by a 1689 pounder grown by Joe Jutras. Why the
grear discrepancy between the two lists? - The IPGA list has none >1500 lbs.
