Re: SVB's in Northern Illinois

I bought Ortho Max last night and plan on using it this evening. I was wondering how it works. Does it only kill the insects that it comes in contact with or does it coat the sprayed area to prevent insects from hanging out? Also, does it kill SVB eggs upon contact? Regarding Bayer Tree & Shrub - I used it on the ground/grass around where the plants will grow (do not have a choice about growing over grass). Can you also use it on the plant itself?

What works for squash bugs? No, what works AGAINST squash bugs? They scare me worse than cuke beetles.
