RE: Can I water too much?

Could I suggest a carbon or humate concentrate product for your clay soil?
Till it in after harvest and again in the spring. I'll vouch for the stuff.
It breaks down tough soil!

I am composting then amending the soil, a mix of horse and last winter's
leaves, but this clay stuff -> takes a lot of compost to make a dent. Not
like the good old black dirt back in Iowa.

Wilting. Folks, in this heat, everything wilts. Diane can vouch for me on
that score.

I'm guessing that I need to make sure the plants don't start getting a
yellow hue. Don't drown them. The clay does hold water better than other
soils, but once its dry, its like concrete.
