Hi All,

The weather in the ACT on the first day of winter was fine warm and sunny.
I checked around the garden and the old pumpkin vine still had some
surviving leaves and a female flower had appeared. 
The second day has brought a heavy frost and I suspect the end of the
season for the pumpkin. 
We have had a little snow on the mountains and official start to the ski
season is next weekend. It is now time to clean out the garden and prepare
for next season.
