Hey John,
Don't be bummed out!
We have a lot better weather out here in California than most people do!
I don't think you are the slightest bit behind where most everybody should
be!
Just wait until July, August and September when your plants are tearing up
the patch and you can't keep up with the vine burying.
Everybody here in California will be crying the blues over their plants
wilting and slow growth due to the 106F degree weather conditions!
