I have five plants going. I still have them covered with plastic but
well ventilated. We are now on the 20th day of rain in the forcast. I
feel sure that if I hadn't had the cover on the plants, I would have had
problems with disease by now. The temps are going to be in the 80's for
the next few days. Should I go ahead and remove the covers? My garden
is getting covered with weeds, just too wet to even walk in. I hope for
sunshine soon. This has been very strange weather for this time of year
in Tennessee. Plants look great with vines out about 5 feet and male
flowers already. I don't want to mess up now after getting the plants
this far.
