Hi 
I live in San Diego Ca.  Where can you buy captan?  I have a split in one of
my main vines as of this a.m.  I have been to the local home depot, nursery
land, etc without success.  So, HELP!  Could I just bury that section of
vine without Captan?  Will it hurt just to not doctor the split?  
Also on the subject of questions:  When do you start to shade your pumpkins?
I admit I am really new to all this and I want my pumpkins to do well.  I
would appreciate any advice or help that can be offered.
