I need some advice

I live in Queensland, Nova Scotia. The weather was cold and damp There were
many nights with frost in June. 

My pumpkin has yet to lay over and it is about a foot high. There are 5
main leaves and more starting. It has 6 or 8 buds already. This is not like
last year.

In the spring the ph was 6.5 so I was content, but, now the ph is 5.5 which
is to low. What can I do?
