Hello again,
Question?: My 779.5 Bobier is starting to put on pumpkin
sets here in Indiana. However, I think it is to early to pollinate. Do I
continue to pluck these early birds off until a certain date or go ahead? At
the present time my plant has about 80 to 100 leaves. It is growing so fast
it is hard to keep count. My original plan was to pollinate around the last
week of June. Like most of you my target date is Oct. 3. Thanks for your
help.

Leave them on and make the decision later when your sure you have later sets.
You never know if the weather will turn so hot you cannot set fruit. The one
that sets now may be your only one for the season. If it's not you can always
cut it later.
