Brent,

Recommended water rates are 1" to 1 1/2" per week. This of course is a big
variable depending on your soil type and summer temps. You will have to do
the math, square footage & rate at which your sprinklers apply water or you
can place one or two rain gauges in your patch during watering cycles to
verify. If you use rain gauges move them around from time to time to also
confirm even application of water.
