Hi all,
My name is John Baranick and I live in Minneapolis. I have always
been interested in growing large pumpkins, and now a bet between my
brother and mother and I has called for me to pull out the big guns
and get some resources (my brother does not believe in the power of
the 'net). Anyway, I need all the help I can get as to how to go
about this. (my brother lives on a farm with it's own swamp, so I
would imagine he's got a good head start, even though he's not a
farmer). Anyway hi again and thanks for having me.
P.S. Is the milk feeding for real?
John

I found the information on these pages very useful. If you have not
yet read them I would do so very completely. It has been a good
starting point for my education on the subject. (for whatever that is
worth.) I would stay away from the milk feeding as it is looked down
on by most competitive growers and could kill your whole vine in one
blow. Another resourse that you can tap is doing key word
searches of this list's archives. Good luck! :-)
