Re: Darkhorse

Chris,

With that load of Zoo Doo that I picked up, I expect a slightly larger pumpkin
this year. I believe that with a little luck I might approach the 77 lb
barrier. If I can achieve this, people will be begging for my autograph in
Southern Pumpkins Fall issue. I will be a shoe in for SPGA rookie of the
year. I just have to sabotage Barb's monster and watch out for Terry Lynn out
there in the cool mountains of Augusta County. The August temperatures in the
Valley of Virginia are near perfect for popping a big 73 or 75 lber. Rocky's
got a good plant in the Anderson 815, but he's in Pennsylvania, not in the
south. Terry Lynn's late start will probably let her pollinate in late July
or early August. This could be bad for our hero. A 77lber this year would
definitely boost sales of the video. Maybe Leno or Letterman would call. If
I make the Letterman show, I'll surely mention the guy in Moraga, California.

I'm stoked,
